Come and join the Florida Land Rover Club for our annual Spring Rally on April 29-May 1st. This is a great event for the whole family; even if you have never been off-road before.
Location: Richloam
The event will be held at Richloam and camping will be at the Withlacoochee Rv and Canoe rental on 575. ( http://www.canoegatorstyle.com ) This location is ideal because it is right across the street from the trails. Jackie has assured me that the plumbing is up to par now as is the electricity. We will have trail rides for all levels, a potluck for those interested on Friday, a BBQ on Saturday, and organized kids events on Saturday afternoon. It will be a great time for all.
Registration and Fees:
Pre-registered Members $20.00/truck, at the Rally $25.00 Catered dinner $10.00 pp (kids under 10 free)
Pre-registered Non Members $25.00/truck, at the Rally $30.00 Catered dinner $12.00pp (kids under 10 free)
We will also collect for camping 15$/tent per night (2 people, kids under 10 free). 5$ per additional person/night. 25$/RV/night.
We had to pay in advance for the campground so we will collect for Fri/Sat night, if you come early mention to Jackie that you are part of the FLRC and she will collect for early birds.
If you preregister please print and bring a copy of the receipt as we have volunteers working the booth and this will speed things up. Also remember that dues are due this time around, so please pay that too if you preregister and again bring a receipt as it makes life easy.
All participants in your group will need to sign an event waiver so make sure they accompany you when registering. If you pre-register you will still need to make an appearance at the registration booth to check in and sign the waiver and check in.
A drivers meeting will be held on Friday night and Saturday morning. Please attend one of these.
Of course we will also be doing our raffle. Raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets will be sold on site only. Thanks to E2 Services for being our premier sponsor and for the HUGE rally prize he donated. We all appreciate you Ed!
Pets are allowed but as always must be kept on a leash and feces must be picked up and disposed of properly, its not only Florida Law but its respectful to fellow campers. Firewood is for sale and on site. The cost is $12.00 for a large amount. Campers are not allowed to bring in fire wood.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to post up on the board and we will do our best to answer them! Hope to see you all. Gordo
