Spring Rally - April 20-22, 2001 This years Spring Rally was again held in the Osceola National Forest, located just North of I-10 near Lake City, Florida. Although I don't have official numbers, by my count, this was the largest turnout for a Florida Land Rover Club event, ever. As usual, a great time was had by all. The club event coordintors did a great job, and Danny Bowman's Bar-B-Q was terrific. Although the trails were a bit drier than we prefer, there was plenty of fun to go around. The 'car wash' was not up to it's really dangerous levels, but I believe it still claimed a casualty or two. At the club raffle after dinner Saturday night, where I think everyone came away with at least something, the club president Chris Horsman turned over the reigns of the club to long time member Gene Nault.
